McCormick School of Engineering students at Northwestern University partnered with Nettelhorst School in Chicago for a senior capstone course in mechanical engineering, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing. Students in the course use McCormick's prototyping lab and injection-mold machinery to design and manufacture a product of their own creation. Here, the elementary students acted as the clients, directing McCormick students in toy design.
