Displaying a video within a word document lets you present YouTube material without a separate browser. This lets you write directly in the document to make notes or answer questions. It can become an interactive worksheet or just a fully multimedia letter. If you just want to embed audio in the word document the you just have to create the audio a vod file (video podcast) then resize the display screen in word so that you only get enough of the play controls to satisfy your needs.
Tip - You can have your video material unlisted and it will only be found and referenced by your Word document because the links are part of the properties of the document. and not available for general access.
