These were very interesting, they help explain the creation of the rebellion. I didn't know Mon Mothma was a senator. Too bad Lucas surrendered to the demands of the simpletons and tried to tone down the politics. The politics were the most interesting part! They add depth to the story.

They keep cutting Padme's integral scenes, it's disappointing especially because the formation of the Rebellion is so intrinsic to understanding the entire Star Wars saga This is why I prefer the Star Wars prequel novels to the films themselves, so much important information couldn't make it into the movies due to run time

I really love the Senator scenes, they add so much more to the underlying conflict in the story. Plus I absolutely love Padme's green dress ;)

All of the rebels' scenes should have been included. Ties the movies together better than Anakin's turn.

What a difference a good director makes. Mon Mothma and Bail Organa come off as total wimps here, but in Rogue One, so much more gravitas. I felt for those characters in Rogue One far more than I would seeing this clip.
