For the it gets better project. I grew up in the closet and had to deal with most emotions by myself. It wasn't until I entered college I discovered real friendship and being honest with myself and others, and in doing so found true acceptance.

Text version: I don't know exactly what you are doing through, so instead, I'm going to address this as if I'm talking to my 15 year old self, and I hope that if you're going through something similar, that it helps you as well. I know it seems like, sometimes, you don't have anyone that you can relate to, that everyone is an acquaintance, and that you have to deal with everything inside. You'll have to learn over the years to be your own best friend, but as soon as you leave high school, it starts to get so much better. You meet more people who are into the arts, you meet people who are funny and want to get to know you, and spend more time with you. You can start meeting guys who like you as a person and are well rounded and whole people themselves. You get to have so many relationships that are full of respect and full of love. It's really hard to explain because when you're in that period of your life it seems like the people around you are your whole world, and that's all you are ever going to know, but it's so much more out there, when you finish high school. You've gone and you've seen Paris and Switzerland and Germany and London and now you live in Iceland instead of Virginia. You are married to a wonderful guy and you have a dog and a house, and you have a whole life now, that if you had ended it in high school, you would have missed out on. So I just want to say it gets better.
