The Ram Lila is a classic retelling of the Ramayana, given a Bollywood interpretation by the Bollywood Dance School.

Sita has been kidnapped by the many headed demon Ravana. Sita waits in Ravana's palace garden, pining for her husband, the Lord Rama, to rescue her. Ravana repeatedly orders Sita to marry him, but time and again she reiterates her faith in Rama's love and her belief he will find her.

Suddenly, the monkey, Hanuman appears and hides a ring for Sita to find, alerting her that Rama is on his way.

Hanuman challenges Ravana to release Sita, and reveals his true heart as an avatar of Siva. Angered, Ravana sets Hanuman's tail on fire. As Hanuman runs, his tail sets fire to Ravana's palace and burns it to the ground.

Rama appears and a battle ensues. Finally, Rama shoots Ravana dead, and rescues Sita.
