I awoke this morning to news of Christopher Hitchens' death. While I didn't always agree with Hitchens, his sharp wit and intellect always left me feeling inspired and inadequate. However well argued his positions were, it was his sober and honest assessment of his own mortality that I found most significant.
This was recorded during the summer of 2011. It seems appropriate to upload it today. A warning: This is depressive black metal featuring samples of HItchens reflecting on his advancing cancer; please don't watch if you're interested in neither.
