The Stability Squat is a Bar/Squat Mode exercise. Pendular motion in the load forces you to be more aware of your imbalances, movement habits, and encourages the recruitment of core musculature. The arc shape of the bar is ideal for those with limited shoulder mobility, and the Yoak’s patent pending cervical notch creates clearance for your spine.

How to execute:
1. Load the Yoak with the load of your choice (kettlebells, plates, buckets, etc.) and step under it lining up the Cervical Notch over your spine
2. Engaging your core, straighten your legs
3. Step forward away from your "docking station" (i.e. plyo boxes, chairs, tables) and squat until thighs are at your desired height
4. Repeat as desired and step back to your docking station to unload the Yoak

Bar/Squat mode is one of three primary Yoak Modes. The others are Suspension Mode and Parallette mode.

Push, pull, squat, and lunge your way to core stability and strength symmetry with the Yoak, the world's most beautiful and versatile stability training system!

Load it with anything, use it anywhere, and add dimension to your training. #getyoaked www.theyoak.com
