Anthony Kearns Opens the 2013 National Memorial Day Parade

Famed Tenor Anthony Kearns opened the 2013 National Memorial Day Parade Program on Monday, May 27th in Washington, D.C. with a stirring performance of "America the Beautiful," with a 260-member chorus from across the country. Other special guests included Robert Griffin III, actors Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna, veteran and "Dancing with the Stars" winner, J.R. Martinez, country star Trace Adkins, Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan, among others.

Mr. Kearns is the original founding member of The Irish Tenors, with whom he has 10 best-selling CDs and five PBS Specials. He frequently performs at charity concerts, on television, and with the finest symphony orchestras and opera houses. In 2013, he was the guest of Speaker of the House John Boehner for the 2013 Friends of Ireland Lunch, and for General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to honor Medal of Honor recipients.
