One of two songs I played for Carly Simon's The Film Noir Project, co-produced by Jimmy Webb. Jimmy contacted me and asked me to bring the "biggest guitar amp I could find" for the solo on this song, as he was hearing a jubilant, overt guitar solo with sustained notes into feedback. I remember him singing the solo for me in the studio....It was such a perfect way to communicate what he was hearing and a very interesting and courageous approach to a gentle ballad...almost inspired by Brian May of Queen. Ask and ye shall receive! I am a big fan of Jimmy's work and Carly is just the sweetest!! Simply an honor to share the stage with the 2 of these immense talents.Recorded live in the TV studio around 1977.
