Lindsay raised her grades from Ds to Bs after an 8 week program of Vision Therapy corrected her vision problem. Developmental Optometrist, Dr. Michael Kotlicky diagnosed Convergence Insufficiency (CI), a common disorder that glasses won't fix. When the two eyes aren't working together, up-close tasks like reading cause headaches, eyestrain and fatigue. Reading comprehension suffers because the print is blurry, doubled, and appears to move on the page, causing loss of place on the page, and skipping of words and whole lines.
