Picking 'Carrie' Mango- A detailed tutorial

'Carrie' is one of our most popular mango varieties. It is a golden green mango that is soft and tender with melting, juicy flesh.

While 'Carrie' is an exceptional mango, it is difficult to know when to pick the fruit. It is easy to leave the fruit on the tree too long. Ripe fruit drop quickly and bruise easily.

In this detailed video, Chris will show you what to look for when picking 'Carrie' mangos. Signs of ripeness include brown stems, smooth skin, skin color changes, beads of sap and plumpness.
