With one of the largest residency training programs in California, Kaiser Permanente residents benefit not only from learning in a prevention-based, integrated health care system, but some of our residents also have the eye-opening and rewarding experience of working at community clinics as part of their training. This experience exposes the medical residents to the realities facing people seeking care without insurance and with limited resources. Learn more about this partnership through the eyes of resident physician Dr. Ricky Hamilton as he enhances his Kaiser Permanente training with a rotation at Indian Health Center in San Jose. For more information on this program and other ways Kaiser Permanente is making a difference in our communities, please visit www.kp.org/communitybenefit.
