The best way of running RiyazStudio on a mac is through Windows installed in a "virtual machine" http://riyazstudio.com/faq.html#Mac
CrossOver is an alternative that doesn't need Windows...
August 2015 changes:
- the CrossOver installer now installs Internet Explorer 7 (not 8)
- If a crash occurs when you try to register RiyazStudio, open Internet Explorer 7 and go to the registration page:
- To get a registration code, open IE7 and go to:

RiyazStudio is Windows software. But you can run in on your Mac,
either by first installing Windows under under VMWare fusion, VirtualBox, Parallels or BootCamp, or, as we'll show you here, by running RiyazStudio under CrossOver; software that makes RiyazStudio think it is running under Windows.

For the other options (they involve installing the 'real' Windows); VMWare, VirtualBox, Parallels and BootCamp see...

Visit http://www.codeweavers.com/?ad=66 and download the CrossOver Mac free trial.
Watch the top right corner for when the download is complete, then doubleclick on it to install it.

When CrossOver launches, select 'Install Windows Software', then search and select to install 'Internet Explorer' (RiyazStudio needs this in order to function)

Now go back to Safari, and download the version(s) of RiyazStudio that you want.
Watch the top right corner for when the download is complete - this may take some time as it's a large file - then doubleclick on it to install it under CrossOver.

Select to install RiyazStudio within the 'Internet Explorer' bottle that you've just created.
(It's very important that RiyazStudio is installed into the same "bottle" as InternetExplorer. If you get "script errors" on running RiyazStudio it'll be because they aren't in the same bottle - just reinstall RiyazStudio to fix this.)

Wait for RiyazStudio to convert its sound files.

Once RiyazStudio has installed, drag the "RiyazStudio in browser" icon into the dock for easy launching. (the other RiyazStudio shortcut doesn't work in recent CrossOver versions)

When you run RiyazStudio you'll first need to click the yellow bar at the top of Internet Explorer's Window to reassure IE that it's OK to run.

You can then 'Get' or 'Enter' your RiyazStudio registration key; our 30-day moneyback guarantee applies to all RiyazStudio purchases made through PayPal.

It's boring to have to click the yellow bar every time you run RiyazStudio - so to fix this select Internet Options under the Tools menu. Under the Advanced tab, check 'Allow active content to run in files on My Computer', then click 'OK'.

When you've finished a session on RiyazStudio it's a good idea to close it down by holding the RiyazStudio icon, then selecting 'Quit'.

If you're finding it difficult to reopen RiyazStudio then select 'Manage Bottles' under CrossOver's 'Configure' menu, then click 'Quit Bottle' or 'Force Quit Bottle'.

Please note that CrossOver isn't free software, and you'll need to purchase it to keep it working beyond the trial period.
