For more information: www.ifrc.org Asia Pacific is the most disaster prone region of the world , suffering on average, 40% of global disasters each year. For decades, the IFRC has been working with Red Cross Red Crescent National Societies and hazard prone communities on disaster risk reduction projects. This film explores the scope of these interventions. It includes vulnerability capacity and assessment training in Sri-Lanka, disaster simulations in Indonesia and mangrove reforestation in Vietnam.
