Swedish folk music on vocals performed by Mikael Frisk / svensk folkmusik, kulning framförd av Mikael Frisk.
Kulning is a type of traditional Swedish hearding-call mostly performed by women but sometimes, as here, also performed by a man.
Kulning was traditionally used at the pasture (where young women watched the animals who were grazing in the woods for long periods in the summers) for several purposes: communicate with other pastures, summon the animals and scare of predators and other beings (both real and superstitous)
This 'kulning' to the sea is filmed at Garnberget, Långasand, Halland, Sweden. I had a little flue but I don't think it affected me - untill the last tone.
