In this video George shares what Kisoro Kids and the Kisoro community have achieved to help their children during the past year (actually almost 2 years now!)

Background:

In 2007, when Aggie and I started working together in Uganda, we felt God wanted us to assist needy families to educate their children - we just didn't know how to go about it. It's amazing to see how God brings things together in His time! In January 2011 we began the "Kisoro Kids" ministry, working with Pastor George Mbonyebyombi of Kisoro (far southwest Uganda). We've known George for a number of years. He's been working in his community for over 25 years & together they've started 13 churches and 7 primary schools.

In partnership with the community, under George's leadership and guidance, Kisoro Kids is currently helping 40 children with school fees and coming alongside the schools to help in areas they've been struggling to get ahead (e.g. classroom construction, cementing floors, more desks & text books).

You may ask how can you support Kisoro Kids? In two ways, 1) Buying Aggie's Arts jewelry (or getting involved!), see http://www.aggiesarts.org) ; 2) Support the Uganda Journey ministry (go to http://www.ugandajourney.org).
