TRANSCRIPT
You spend all this time making a beautiful cake to serve your guests for dessert and then you go to cut it and the frosting sticks to the knife and then the crumbs stick to the frosting and the next thing you know you have a mangled piece of cake. Here's a quick tip to get a beautiful slice of cake every time. The best knife for the job is going to be a cake knife, but any knife with a long blade and a non-serrated edge will work just as well. Make your first cut, rinse the blade under hot water, give it a quick wipe with a towel and work your way around the cake, rinsing and wiping off the blade in between each slice. It may sound tedious but a beautiful slice of cake just tastes better.
