400+ enthusiastic members of our Nevada County community turned out for the showing of Thrive -- What On Earth Will It Take (http://thrivemovement.com/), on Jan 20th, 2012. We realize that to survive the challenges we will be facing as the globalized system continues to fall apart, and to thrive, we must come together as a community.

On March 21 we will be gathering for our first ThriveOn organizing meeting.
To assist us in this we are thrilled to have the amazing Nancy Margulies (http://www.nancymargulies.com/about.html), who will help us illustrate our vision. Nancy facilitates visioning sessions and presents ideas using her unique form of graphic representation, Mindscaping (http://www.nancymargulies.com/index.html).

With your help we will express our highest aspirations for our Nevada County community and Nancy will turn them into striking visual images. This process is quite magical in the way it brings a group together and creates enthusiasm.

We will identify elements of our vision which are already underway in our community (ie, local food movement, occupy nevada county, etc) as well as identify the gaps, missing pieces and projects.

Following this we will explore the power of purpose -- our purpose as a collective and the purpose each of us finds within.

Finally, we will break into smaller task-oriented groups (following Thrive's 12 Sectors-(http://www.thrivemovement.com/the_12_...) and establish relationships with others in your sectors of interest.

Please join us, your voice is needed!

Many thanks to Andras Maros & Aeron Miller (Videography) and http://DrMiller.com!
