I gave Mansbach's "Go the F*** to Sleep" to my husband for Father's day and he loved it. So, during a recent visit from my parents, I thought I'd introduce the book to them as well. I handed my unsuspecting mom the book to read to my daughter and I was lucky enough to capture it.

Why do I keep thinking the baby's first word was "F**k". This woman is priceless. I love her to pieces. What a wonderful grandma.

On A Serious Note
With all respect, you are all missing the point (joking here) that although clearly English is Grandma's second language she deserves great commendation on her eloquent reading - the emphasis each time is excellent!  For example, "I've got two words for you (lowered tone) fucking sleep." And I agree with you all, she reads every swear word, declares it is not a good book, says:  "This is no good for you Carrington!  I don't like this book."  Then, being clearly an intelligent lady who has a good sense of humour (is probably reminiscing "fondly" and feeling empathetic as she reads) and, most importantly, understands that the child is too young to understand so continues...  LOVE IT
