HUD: NO IT DOES NOT EXIST, it was made in a video editing program.
Just a small project to test some things out.
Notes: Trying out 1080p workflow from start to finish 20mbps h264 final encode
In case any one's interested in the HUD, it's a custom made in AfterFX, I do two passes of recording, one with no HUD and one with full HUD, I pick which elements I want to show, make it and overlay and animate it with expressions, match it up to the HUD pass and then hide. The elements are parented to null objects and the movements/slight perspective are achieved through an AfterFX camera.
Camera shake is done via Video Copilot's Twitch plugin.
No colour correction used (because it's fucking shit, fuck vids with noticeable colour correction).
The initial 3d text was done through CS6's native 3D virtual camera effect, it did a pretty good track, comparable to Boujou and I think I'll start using this for simple tracks.
Only recorded at 120 FPS and encoded at 30 FPS for this project, so some of the slomo is not as smooth as I like.
