Are you looking for Chevelle looks and attitude, without the sticker shock? Vanguard Motor Sales has you covered! This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle has a big block, 4-speed, beautiful paint, and a super clean interior all in a package that is done right and doesn't cost a fortune to own.

This 1970 Chevelle has an outstanding body with Cortez silver paint with black metallic stripes. The rust free body is super straight, with no waves, ripples, dents or dings. The car is beautiful from every angle. The doors have a nice fit and open and close without any effort. The body lines, gaps, and lips are clean and straight. Both front and rear chrome bumpers and stainless trim is gorgeous. The SS badges ad a ton of street presence to this Chevelle. The black vinyl top is in perfect condition. Out back the clean trunk is finished in correct spatter paint and has a spare tire. This '70 has a clean and muscular look, and is serious and solid.

The underside of this Chevelle is very well maintained. The frame is in very good shape, showing no pitting or rust, and the floorboards have no patches or rust either. The rockers and pinch welds are rust free, and the spot welds and drain holes are visible. The bushings and ball joints look to be new, and there is a front and rear sway bar. There is a newer gas tank, new fuel line, new brake lines and a new parking brake cable. The rear wheel cylinders for the drum brakes are new, as well as the rotors and flex lines for the front disc brakes. Out back you will find new shocks, a 12 bolt rear end and a new 2" exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. This car was built to be a worry free drive.

At the heart of it all, is a 454 Big Block motor. The engine compartment is beautifully painted, including the underside of the hood, inner fenders and firewall. The original air cleaner has nice rubber on it. You will also notice the chrome valve covers, aluminum intake and a great looking radiator. There is a new starter and power steering. The car was factory equipped with A/C, and it looks like some of the parts are still present, however it is not currently operational. Mated to the Big Block is a Muncie 4-speed transmission.

The black vinyl interior in this Chevelle is both beautiful and functional. The buckets show no wear and tear and there are seatbelts front and rear. The center console houses the shifter. The straight dash has no cracking or warping. The carpet is in excellent shape and the headliner is still stretched tight across the roof of the car. There are dual aftermarket gauges mounted under the dash. This car was made for cruising and the comfortable interior ensures that you get every ounce of pleasure out of all your seat time. Out back the clean and solid trunk holds a spare tire and jack set up.

This 1970 Chevelle is a great hobby car with a price that won't kill you. It performs well, drives great and has a muscle car swagger that can't be matched by a lot of cars with a much higher price tag. This Chevelle would be a perfect car for a summer night at your favorite local car show. Call Tom today 248-974-9513 available 7 days a week
