This is first instrinsically stretchable Light Emitting Electrochemical Cell, created by the Carmichael Lab at the University of Windsor Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry run by Dr. Tricia B. Carmichael. This particular LEEC is made with transparent Gold, and a Ruthenium based emissive layer and demonstrates 20% stretch at room temperature without heating.
