Samuelle, who is from Sacramento California, was one of the lead vocalists with Club Nouveau, which was a spin-off from the Timex Social Club. Club Nouveau's awesome cover of the Bill Wither song, 'Lean On Me', went to the top of the R&B and Pop Charts in 1987. Samuelle's group mates, Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy, became a recording duo and production team Foster & McElroy, while Samuelle went on to a solo career.

Samuelle's debut album, Living In Black Paradise, released in 1990 produced, 'So You Like What You See', which peaked at number one for two weeks on the R&B charts in the summer of 1990. His other good songs from the album were 'Black Paradise' and 'Greedy Man'. Samuelle resurfaced in 1996 with the song, 'All That Matters To Me'.
