Yes2Chess is a fun, international chess tournament for children ages 7 - 11. Registration is now open http://yes2chess.org/uk/register so it's time to get your kids and school involved.

Yes2Chess is played in 8 countries, and 1 team from each wins a trip to London for the final in summer 2015. Watch the story so far and register your school and kids.

The Yes2Chess International Challenge, brought to you by Chess in Schools and Communities in partnership with Barclaycard, is a fun and free online chess tournament open to primary and elementary school students from eight countries: UK, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Denmark and the USA. One team from each country will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to the face-to-face finals in London.

While playing peers from around the world, kids will learn concentration techniques, strategy, critical thinking, logical reasoning -- valuable skills that will serve them of their lives. Also, chess helps boost imagination, creativity, and self-esteem. But most importantly, the goal of Yes2Chess is to make sure kids have a great time!
