He clubbed it to stun and kill it quickly and he did nothing wrong.  No macho posturing.  Why should he put it back?  He can feed himself and his family several meals of healthy fish.  To let the fish flap and squirm ruins the skin and tears at the flesh.  He is preserving his catch in the most humane, smart and accepted way.  There is nothing wrong with this video or its' content.  Get over yourself.

I have caught both catfish and salmon, and I can say that a 10lb salmon fights way harder than a 10lb catfish. Plus you are comparing a fish which spends its entire life in fresh water with a fish which spends most of its life in salt water, and saltwater fish are generally stronger than freshwater because they usually have to swim against the current, they travel in long distances, etc.

Not to mention, at the end of their life, the final journey up the river is a constant fight against that strong river current. good comment.
