Learn how to change the email sync time interval on the Samsung Galaxy S4.

By default the email app is set to sync with the email server every fifteen minutes. So if you have new emails on your email account after the previous sync, you won't get the new emails on the phone until the next 15 minutes.

You could change this default value on the phone to have the device to check for new emails more frequently or less often as necessary.

Note: if you set a lower value, then the device will consume more battery power because it has to connect to the server to check for new emails.
