A lawyer - who's helping to lead the fight against Female Genital Mutilation in France - claims the authorities here haven't been tough enough - out of fear of causing cultural offence. Thousands of young girls in London are at risk of being taken abroad for the procedure. Despite the practice being illegal in the UK for 30 years - there hasn't been a single prosecution for FGM on a child. But in France there've been more than a hundred - children there are regularly checked for signs of FGM until the age of 6.
