"This is why we need to outlaw guns, that innocent armed robber could have survived this and no lives lost if they would have just handed over all their money, the keys to their car, and possibly the child for a hostage situation. It would have resolved peacefully though because criminals never hurt innocent bystanders when they're robbing places! Gosh everybody that supports guns is so stupid." -I hear the liberal idiots speaking to themselves

I love how people are moaing about the Clerk and calling him 'a pile of shit' for what he did, when in the same video, if you look close enough, a criminal tried to rob the fucking place with a gun pointed in the direction of the child, aswell as the other innocent people in there, but i see no comments about him?

Lets say he hit the kid. You do realize that's hard prison time right? Also the whole killing every one for no witnesses is highly uncommon Especially in this day and age with visible security cams. Yes it does happen, but it it isn't as common. On another note he most likely would of had another opportunity to draw when the kid was at a better angle. The 3rd shot also the closest shot to the child was while the perp was running away back across towards the kids angle thus a unnecessary risk. Good on him for not hitting the kid but he took a huge risk one no one with any real training would take. His tunnel vision came into full effect.

Everyone likes to talk about what "could of" happened when a good citizen uses his gun to stop a bad one, but they don't want to talk about what a good citizen with a gun "could of" done if a bad citizen shoots up a school, theatre, mall, ect.

Those of you saying he shouldn't have shot must be living in a bubble. I grew up a hard drug addict. Many of those drugs alter or remove your moral compass. A good friend of mine was carjacked, handed over his wallet, then was immediately shot several times. If you really believe perps don't shoot witnesses, you need to exit your fantasy world. Stimulants, in particular, can make you into a cold-blooded killer even if you were a good guy to begin with. They aren't thinking about the security cameras, they are functionally insane. And it's not like we have a drug problem in this country...
