This noise maker is based around the LM566, using a NE556 and LM3909 for modulation. A PT2399 is also used for echo effects. These IC's have sockets. The NE556 is a very early version that was selected for best effects. The circuit also uses three voltage regulators (two are knob adjustible). The machine has eight potentiometer controls. The bottom controls are modulator and charge pulse. Next are the 566 loop feedback and 556 mixing. Then the 566 clock one and clock two. Finally the PT2399 echo delay and intensity controls are at the top. The top switch is the main power. The bottom toggle is the LM3909 power. The top LED is a power indicator. The bottom LED is a 1970 vintage piece used for the LM3909 charge pump. The box uses eight AA batteries and one standard 9V Battery. Find me on ebay : AF5FV
