What is it? Software suite prototype developed through SBIR phase I funding that provides objective rule based analysis of trainee movements during building clearing exercises
How does it work? By analyzing soldier positioning data and comparing those positions against an encoded rule set, Overlord can assess if trainees are following standardized training protocols. Any violations of these rules are captured in a bookmark that can be reviewed by trainers after the training exercise.
Rule Set: Avoid Windows - Limit exposure to unknown locations by not standing in front of windows. Breadth, then Depth search - When advancing through a build, do not leave uncleared rooms behind the axis of advance. Clear all rooms - Ensure all rooms have been cleared. Large rooms should be visited by at least two trainees. Do Not Loiter in Doorways - Doorways are a natural focus point for armed enemy, i.e. the "Fatal Funnel" Dominate Room - At least two trainees should enter a room within two seconds of each other.
