Hewlett Packard Labs has developed a novel method that harnesses the power of DNS traffic to detect infected machines. In this video, Research Manager Bill Horne explains how Hewlett Packard Labs’ DNS Attack Analysis technology can capture and analyze billions of daily DNS requests without impacting network performance. This novel approach can detect emerging, malicious behavior patterns that may evade other security tools, enabling our customers’ security teams to rapidly take action to contain and fix problems.
