This is "Space Harrier" for the Amstrad CPC. It was released in 1986 by Elite Systems.
The CPC version is very different compared to the other home versions because it uses wireframe graphics for the enemies and and ground obstacles. Probably the use of raster graphics was too much for the CPC. That way the game keeps a fast pace and you can also enjoy in game music and sound effects at the same time without serious slow downs.
I also have to admit that i cheated in order to complete the game. No matter how many times i tried (and i tried a lot) to finish it without cheats, i failed miserably. IMHO the game is unforgivingly hard due to the great number of things happening on screen and some perspective problems in graphics.
The in game music is a quite nice rendition of the coin op tune and the sound effects are limited but they are doing their job.
