On Wednesday June 15, 2011 several members of the Orlando Police Department appeared in Lake Eola Park and arrested 6 people for feeding hungry people while letting 2 people go before the 6 arrests for doing the same exact thing.

I spent my cameras batteries at this event capturing the opinions, lack of opinions and reactions to my questions by some of the officers involved.

After the event, after my cameras were off, each of the officers I questioned later shook my hand after I had extended the offer to shake hands. After shaking hands, the undercover in the blue shirt explained that the issue is not about sharing food, but about the message of the group doing the sharing "They're Anti-Capitalists" .. I wish I had video of the comment, it completely proves that the cops are enforcing the City's mandate to squelch the Free Speech of the Food Not Bombs group.

Supporting someones right to voluntarily share private property, in this case its food, with someone and supporting the beliefs of the organization whose sharing the food are two totally different things.

I never did explain to the undercover that he wasn't supporting Capitalism either but rather a form of Fascism called Corporatism.
