Yet another housewife with the problem of making good coffee. Of course her husband hates her coffee-making, which seems like a common theme in coffee advertising. Her friend with a heavy accent explains that Folgers coffee is better because it's Mountain Grown. That means it tastes fresh - like mountains!
I love old advertising and believe these commercials have historical significance in our consumer culture. I'm posting this for educational purposes.
