Hoping to advance the standing of women in the Middle East and North Africa, the U.S. Department of State this year rolled out a professional mentorship and exchange program at leading technology companies based in California's Silicon Valley. The women were recognized earlier this month at a special luncheon in their honor hosted at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C., by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
