While lounging peacefully and minding my own business at the Joe Val Bluegrass festival in 2011 I came across a clarinet and was rather forcefully launched through the hotel room door into a hallway jam. The rest as they say is History. I really thought I might get punched out a couple times!
For those who aren't that up on their bluegrass knowledge, a lot of bluegrass musicians tend to like their music with "traditional" instruments - that would be Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar, Dobro and Bass. At no point has that ever included a clarinet!
Also - if you really have to ask - I did this as a joke. I'm really a mandolin player when it comes to bluegrass (I did play jazz clarinet once upon a time though)
The intro song is Gree-Himfeny by Rushad Eggleston.
