Rep. Joe Barton raises a specific question on point of CO2's claimed effects on the ocean and its biological life. Dr. Craig Idso who claims that real world observation points to a bloom in coral life under elevated temperature & atmospheric CO2 levels.

Barton estimates that 7 billion metric tons of manmade carbon per year would price at $700 billion dollars at a rate of $100 / per metric ton. One can hear which is presumably former Vice President Gore *breathing heavily* into the microphone in a subtle but immature protest over even being questioned about the scientific analysis in any way.

Gore goes on to compare the 'corporate looters' who allegedly buried global warming results and hid them from view to Bernie Madoff, repeatedly referring to them as the "Madoffs of Global Warming." They hurt most of, those who trusted the 'Madoffs'-- namely anyone who challenges Gore's conclusions whatsoever.

How many jobs will be lost via these global warming policies? Gore puts off addressing that point to return to his story about the 'Madoff-like' corportate deniers. Rep. Pitts later brings Gore back to the cost-- which he claims to be .30/per day per household.
