RCR Wireless News Editorial Director, Jeff Mucci, reviews Samsung's Galaxy Beam at Mobile World Congress.

While I was impressed by the size and projector power of the Galaxy Beam, its use as an "on the go sales or marketing projector" is limited to intimate one on one type presentations where customer and presenter do not mind being in huddle formation to watch presentation. Basically, one to three viewers including presenter, will need to be sitting in close proximity to one another and about 3-4 feet from a wall -- not an optimal presentation setting, but effective, when you need to share image or video and no other option exist.

Enterprise users may enjoy better customer experience by using a tablet to present video, powerpoint slides and images,

Features include:

- 12.5 millimeters
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 50 inch high resolution video and image handheld projector
- Docking accessories to be released soon along with external sound system
