"Grey Roses" was written by Leigh Harrison in 2001, as a tribute to all the victims of the attack on America by radical Islamic terrorists. It is dedicated to the victims who were aboard the four jets hijacked in the attack, as well as the thousands killed at the World Trade Center, and in the Pentagon. The song is especially dedicated to the first responders: the firemen, police, and EMS workers, and passengers aboard the jet that went down in Shanksville, PA, who prevented an attack on either the White House or Capital. "Grey Roses" was recorded in 2002 and appears on Leigh's CD, "Eclectic Chanteuse," released in 2003 by SongCrew Music.
