Group 7's movement was a fundraiser event for a horse ranch called Tierra Madre Horse Sanctuary. Wild West Day was planned by Alexis Roeckner who is a current volunteer at the ranch and a member of group 7, and the rest of the group then pitched in to help make the event happen. Teamwork enabled us to impact 34 horses that need food, shelter, and medical care on a daily basis, all because we were able to help the ranch raise $935 in a single day.

This movement is important to today's society because a part of being sustainable is reaching out to the entire planet and everybody in it. Group 7 focused on those who don't often get attention -- the animals of the world that had been abused or neglected or injured in the past.

The process was simple. We as a group worked out the details of what needed to happen during the event and made everything work so that the day went smoothly and money was raised for the ranch. And although future challenges we could face include not being able to spread enough awareness, we are confident that this movement will inspire more in the future.
