Actually, I was slightly disappointed with myself for reacting slowly here. The signs that someone was about to cross were totally obvious on reviewing the video, and it's a completely standard filtering situation. This is why I love having cameras - they let me go back and learn in considerable detail. In case it's not obvious, I'm not blaming the pedestrian at all here. He's perfectly entitled to cross there, and not required to use the crossing. It's up to us in or on vehicles to drive and ride in a civilised manner.
