Hello and welcome to another New York Habitat furnished apartment video tour.

Today we will be giving you a tour of a furnished studio apartment located on boulevard Bonne Nouvelle.
This apartment is near the Porte Saint-Denis in the 2nd district of Paris, where you'll find plenty of shops, stores and boutiques. This small-furnished studio apartment is located on the 5th floor (6th floor in the US) of a beautiful elevator building. The apartment has two glass doors that open onto a small charming balcony. From the balcony you'll get a view of the église Bonne Nouvelle and the Porte Saint Denis.
The living area of this studio is equipped with two sofa beds, a table with chairs, a large dresser, and a small TV. In the back of the apartment you will find the kitchen. This kitchen has a small window and is equipped with a sink, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and all of the necessities for cooking. The white tiled bathroom is equipped with a shower, a sink, and a mirror.
This apartment is ideal for someone looking to stay a few months in Paris. Moreover, it makes for a great home base in the heart of Paris.

Now let's go take a look at the neighborhood!

Coming out of the building you are not far from the Porte Saint Denis. Built in 1672 at the order of Louis XIV in honor of his victories, this monumental archway replaced a medieval gate in the city walls, which they, themselves, date back to the 14th century.
Near the Porte Saint Denis you will find l'église Notre-Dame-de-Bonne-Nouvelle.
This historic church gives its name both to the neighborhood and boulevard Bonne-Nouvelle. Also located in the neighborhood is Le Grand Rex. It is the largest theatre and music venue in Paris. The Grand Rex can seat up to 2650 people and features the largest screen in Europe. This theatre doesn't disappoint.
As the neighborhood is well known for its textile trade, you will find many shops and boutiques like in the passages du Caire with its glass rooftop. While strolling through the neighborhood, be sure to visit rue Montorgueil. This well known pedestrian street is always lively with its many restaurants, cafés, bakeries and more. This is a great place to do your grocery shopping to cook in your fully equipped kitchen.
