The Physics REU program at Kansas State University is a great opportunity to do your own research in a laboratory as an undergraduate. The 10-week program, funded by the National Science Foundation, provides a stipend to the student, as well as an invaluable educational experience. Daryl McPadden tells about her summer in Manhattan, Kansas.
