Reducing global poverty by improving education and training for micro-entrepreneurs is at the heart of Richard Tuck's research, and a reason he received a prestigious 2012 Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (VCG). He is finishing his first year of studies with the Gill PhD program at the Gustavson School of Business. Tuck is only the third business/management student to have received a VCG scholarship since the program was launched in 2009.
