On a second visit to Home & Family on Hallmark in April 2013, Annie demonstrates how you can paint fabric using Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan. In just a few simple steps, you can transform a whole chair!
When Annie Sloan developed her unique brand of paint Chalk Paint® over 20 years ago, she revolutionised decorative painting. Frustrated with the lack of paint options available at the time, she created her signature paint -- with its remarkable versatility and ease of use -- for the DIY enthusiast as well as the professional painter.
Annie's beautiful decorative paint, Chalk Paint®, sticks to just about any surface... including fabric! It dries fast too, so you can add second or third coats quickly, and start enjoying your revitalised walls, floors and furniture sooner.
Please note that when painting on fabric, results can vary depending on fabric composition. Dark colours (especially reds) may not be colour fast without waxing. This technique is not advisable for soft cushioned pieces, such as sofas.
The Chalk Paint trademark is owned by Annie Sloan Interiors Ltd. and is registered in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
