Jonathan Vandenbroeck, better known as Milow, Belgian singer-songwriter and one of the most successful DIY musicians in Europe, took a "brake" in 2012. Tired of playing and recording Milow bought a ticket to L.A. and left Europe.

Milow didn't spend a lot of time relaxing by the pool though. Instead, he grabbed a guitar and joined some friends on stage. After 50 or so successful gigs, Milow met Kevin Augunas. One thing led to another and before he knew it Milow was recording a new album at Fairfax studios (formerly known as the legendary "Sound City" studios). The end product, "Silver Linings", Milow's new album, turned out a true gem.

We teamed up with Milow in Amsterdam and talked about his time in L.A, recording at Fairfax studios (still very much intact and operational despite what's presented in Dave Grohl's documentary), the fear of not growing old, his very personal lyrics about his mom and dad, playing live and lots about his beautiful new album "Silver Linings".
