Christopher Andrew, former chair of the faculty of history at Cambridge University, presents a history of MI5, the British Security Service. Mr. Andrew, the first independent historian allowed access to the MI5's archives, reports on the establishment of the security service in 1909 and its current relations with the British government and perceived enemies and threats.
