Complementary Currencies in Europe Their Importance for the Economy, Regional Development and Employment 18th-22nd July 2004

The goal of the conference is to gain an overview of the complementary currencies that already exist, to discuss their meaning for future local and regional economic development and to clarify their role in the overall economy and the social security networks. In doing this, we shall naturally also refer to experience that has been gained in other continents with complementary currencies. In this conference we would like to provide a creative forum for discussion, creation of networks and encourage the concrete exchange of experiences between people and organisations.
