Galaxy Beam Hands On!

Samsung's new Galaxy Beam is giving all new meaning to vandalism in the 21st Century. If for some reason you're regularly inspired to put on impromptu presentations or stream YouTube videos across famous landmarks, the Galaxy Beam has you covered. Equipped with a WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor, 768MB RAM, 5-megapixel camera, 8GB storage and Android 2.3, the Beam's pico projector, which radiates 15 lumens, displays an nHD image up to 50 inches across. http://tchno.be/PHmOSJ

This is so ancient...
It lasts for 2-3 days with normal usage. The Beamer itself lasts for over 3 hours! Check out my channel i show some cool things u can do with the device, its all about the galaxy beam

Brand new phone running Gingerbread? This is what's killing Android. Hell 90% of the Android phones on the market will never see Jelly Bean. The projector does look cool though..

Your a fanboy for saying that. If you were a true Android fan, you would know that any Android phone beats the iPhone any day.
Kevin Ventura
Well it's better than an iPhone. :P
Kevin Ventura
No, T-Moblie is actually good, they have the HTC One X and the Galaxy S3, it's the iPhone that sucks. :P
15 lumens is just completely unacceptable. I wouldn't use anything less than 100 lumens. The room you're projecting in would have to be close to completely dark...even a candle would wash out the projection. This phone is like a Swiss Army Knife; it has a lot of features, but doesn't do any of them well...
To be honest, I expect very little out of current generation Android devices. I think it's a nifty feature, but I want to warn people that this is 100% impractical, and not worth the supposed price. The other specs are pretty crappy for a 2012 Android phone, and it doesn't even have 4G whereas most other Android phones do. And why on earth is it not updated to Ice Cream Sandwich? I also expect to be treated with the respect and professionalism that I've treated you with.
I am very shocked that someone on YouTube would say sorry, but your apology is accepted, and I hope you have a nice evening.
