In an effort to provide assistance post Hurricane Matthew, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force deployed its Disaster Relief Mobile Base City to North Andros. The Mobile Base City provided an average of 600 meals per day and produced 1000 gallons of fresh water per hour to residents of North Andros. This Mobile Base Camp is one of the systems acquired by the Defence Force under the $232 million dollar Sandy Bottom Project. Its mobility and functionality was crucial in providing the assistance necessary in times of disaster. #GuardOurHeritage#HurricaneMatthew
